2017 - Our second IPFD Student, Ariel Minardi (a 3rd year veterinary student from Ohio State University),developed articles and a video blog or ‘vlog’ to connect with the IPFD/DogWellNet community. Ariel's blog – entitled “B.A.R.K. (Bacterial Antimicrobial Resistance Knowledge)” - includes vlogs (video blogs) on the progress of her project. Geared toward veterinary students (but also of interest to veterinarians, dog breeders and dog owners), her videos and DogWellNet content will focus on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and will cover some of the more interesting and controversial aspects of this issue. Ariel’s blog will also include filmed interviews with experts in AMR. We wish to thank the Skippy Frank Fund for graciously sponsoring Ariel’s project. For more information, please the project overview and other articles at Antimicrobial Resistance - Prudent use of antibiotics. There are five videos available in the series: B.A.R.K.
