The GSD is predisposed to immune-related disorders, such as allergies, circumanal fistulae and exocrine pancreatic atrophy, with significantly increased risk compared with all other breeds.
Inside the many different registries worldwide the number of registered dogs of each breed is known. Is the information readily available by breed? In some cases yes, in others, no. Some registries publish registration numbers.
