Stakeholders included: veterinarians, breeders, geneticists, epidemiologists, national kennel clubs, breed clubs, members of the FCI Scientific, Breeding and Standards commissions, animal industry. Seven plenary speakers took the stage on Saturday to raise key issues under four main topics, before we adjourned to group workshops. This was followed by sharing of issues and suggested actions in plenum. Sunday marked the launch of DogWellNet.com and the potential for IPFD and the website to be a platform for international activities was highlighted by several international speakers. Some of the material below has been posted on the VDH website before and since the 2nd IDHW.
