    AKC Press Release September 27th: The American Kennel Club Announces the Launch of the AKC Canine College

    "The initial launch features a course on the Lagotto Romagnolo; online exams for conformation judges seeking approval to judge dogs in the Sporting, Terrier, and Toy Groups; and, educational material for all breeders, including required education for Bred with H.E.A.R.T. members. Content will continue to be developed and added to the catalog of courses; including training for Canine Good Citizen Evaluators and Groomers, additional breed courses and exams, tests for performance event judges, and more."

    There are several free course resources for newer breeders that cover basics. These courses are MUST READS for anyone looking to start a breeding program - good for breeder mentors too - well organized, thorough and concisely presented in a user friendly interface.

    You must register for the college - but it's a snap to do so.


    Other Breeder Education, Judge's Education and additional courses are available - fees may apply.
