- Brief Description
The Australian Kelpie, or simply Kelpie, is an Australian sheep dog successful at mustering and droving with little or no guidance. It is a medium-sized dog and comes in a variety of colours.

The basis of breed/conformation shows is the judging of pedigree dogs against the 'Breed Standard', which is a picture in words that describes the range of features that are deemed appropriate for the breed.

AKC: The Australian Kelpie became a Foundation Stock Service breed in 2017. The Breed Standard Referenced by AKC is that of the AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL KENNEL COUNCIL
