The decision-making power of the Finnish Kennel Club is vested in its General Assembly and Council. Administration is handled by the Board. The General Assembly wields the highest decision-making power in the Finnish Kennel Club. It convenes every third year in March. Two members from each kennel district and one member from each breed association are elected to the Council. In addition, the General Assembly elects 12 members to serve on the Council. The Council elects a Chair for the Board for a term of two years as well as nine members for terms of three years.
The Finnish Kennel Club office employs 40 people. Kustannus Oy Koiramme employs three people, and Showlink Oy has 15 employees.
